Healing Fatherhood, Reclaiming Ourselves

At first glance, it looked like nine men gathering in a barn.
We sat in a circle.
Ate together.
Moved through breath and fire and silence.
Even ran wild through the pastures at one point, shouting what we never got from our fathers.
But what happened that day at 13 Moons Ranch was deeper.

We didn’t just talk about fatherhood and our fathers.
We used it as a lens to move deeper into ourselves.
Face our realities.
Reclaim our dreams and truths.
One man said,
“The focus was fatherhood, but the real value to me was simply being radically authentic and vulnerably honest in my sharing with another human. Which I realized was a positive trait my father helped instill in me.”
One man cried seeing another man process the shame and suicidal ideation he has been holding since childhood from a time his father didn't show him compassion—owning that he is doing that to his son and committed to being more compassionate going forward.
The list of transformations goes on!
We hooted and hollered.
We danced barefoot, out of rhythm, in rhythm, no rhythm—and still it was medicine.
We shared stories we’ve carried for decades—stories of anger, numbness, burden, worthlessness, despair, as well as love, success, progress, and hope.
We mirrored each other and the mountain behind us.
We spoke honestly about our fathers—what they gave us, what they overcame, and what they couldn’t provide or heal.
And we stood on their shoulders, not to blame, but to see more clearly.
This wasn’t about fixing anyone.
It was about offering a space where men could simply be.
To feel. To speak. To be held.
In a world that often asks men to perform, to suppress, to power through—this space asked them to soften, to listen, to come home to themselves.
Because here’s the deeper truth:
We’re living in a time of massive transition.
Old identities are crumbling.
The world is noisy and unpredictable.
And many men are silently asking,
“Who am I supposed to be right now?”
At Sacred Brotherhood, we don’t give answers.
We offer the space to ask the right questions.
To remember. To reconnect.
To choose—consciously—how you want to live, lead, love, and father.
This is The Fulfilled Man in action.
And this is just the beginning.
